Wow - warm and no snow

Hi all,
New, they changed the way the blog works, now have to get use to that. lol
So here we are in OH and it is warm and no snow on ground right now, not
sure if we are going to have a white Christmas or not. Sure a big change from
AK, where for over 30 some years we have always had a cold white Christmas.
But, I am loving it very much. Still working on my site and new designs. This
month in my yahoo group (RoseAngels) we are giving away lots of free designs.

Frosty don't like cameras

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to share with you a few pic updates about Frosty, our newest baby. He does not like cameras pointed at him. I was trying to get a good new pic of him and he took one look at the camera and puffed up like a toad. lol

Frosty is now 5 months old and learning new things everyday. I am still hand feeding him twice a day, some days he will eat a lot and others not so much. He is learning about new foods, like nuts of all kinds, and fresh fruits and vegetables. He also like many different kinds of "people" foods, some of which he wants but can not have.

His feet and legs are much stronger than when I got him at 3 months old. He is actively climbing and hanging from almost any place in the house, have to watch him all the time. I have clipped his wings just a little so he can't gain any height. He is still learning to fly, goes forward real good, but has not learned to "land" with an grace just yet. He is learning to "turn" while in flight, but those landings are still a bugger. lol He follows me around the house either by walking on the floor or short flights to where I am at.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share a little sunshine with you in the
cold winter. This is the second one to flower this
winter for me under grow light in the basement...
The first one was mostly white with a blush of pink
on it here and there, should have taken a pic, but did not.
They are so lovely and sure do cheer up a bleak day.

HI all,

I closed my old blog on my web site, BUT, the old "blogger" blog is still
there, so if you want to follow a "blog" you are welcome to do so, updates
also will always be addedto the blogger spot.   So now hopefully everyone
will be happy, :-) you now have a main group "Rose Angels" and a "News
only" group, and a "blog". This should be enough for all to be happy, cause
there will be no other changes madeto any of these. I am thankful that you
all are keeping up with me, as I have kept you all busy in the past with all of
my changes, yes, I know there have been afew. :-)   But, I was always
looking for something better, and lets face it, I love to work on my
computer. lol   But, all of that has now changed, as I can not and will not
anymore change anything in the way of groups from what any are at this point
in time. Unless I decide to just "delete" all groups. I know I will be very
busy with yard and house work, not to say all the unpacking when we get
there, not to mention the care of Dad. In which I do not know all that it will
entail at this point. The links are below, make your choice or join all three
if you want.   I hope you will enjoy trying each of them and enjoy being
members of all. I have found that if I post to the blog, it will forward the
emails to each group I have listed. Much faster for me. :-) So if you see a
few extraposts from me, just read and than get a good laugh, as most likely
I have hit the wrong key.

Winter in AK

Hi all,
Well, winter has arrived in Alaska, we got about 6 inches yesterday. Winter wonder land for sure.

I have been busy putting up the newest designs, we have now started the Hat Girl Set. The first
four designs have been released. You can see them on my blogger and my home page on web or
if you are a member of my other blog, you can see them there also.

We hope you love them as much as we do.

This blogger is older and does not and will not have the most recent updates as I am working on
the "word press" blog that is on my own web site. So be sure to join that blog if you have not for

Our summer in Alaska

Hi all,

Boy, this year, seems we have never got out of the spring. It has been (to me) a cool, mostly cloudy and rainy summer this time around. Here we are almost at the end of July and it is still cool and rainy, even today again, it is cloudy, in the 50's and dips to 40's on some days when the wind decides to blow. Normally when we hit into August, it starts our rainy season which turns into "fall" for us and the temp's start to get cooler, should be giving a frost nip or two by the time we hit into mid September and if a normal season, we will have snow on the ground before Halloween gets here. So for most of June and July, we have been cloudy, and rainy most of the time. I love it all except for the few days that are full of the humidity, that I am not fond of. Most all of the seeds I planted this spring did not come up, was too cool and stayed that way so long that the seeds that did come up are about 5 or 6 inches tall now. I do not think they will get much growing and blooming done this year before the frost gets them. Over all though, it is a typical Alaska summer. Wonder what this winter will be like?

Hello all,
This is Amber Rose. This is the start and the first to be released of Nita's Hat Girls. Some of these designs will have small touches of applique on them, the rest will be embroidery. These designs will fit the 5x7 hoop size unless other wise marked. All of these designs are the handy work of my sister, Nita Twardzak, she has had drawn all of the angels for this set of which there are almost 50 designs. We hope you will enjoy and be
sure to collect these as they come out. There will be between one and two of them released each month. Be sure to bookmark us so you can keep up with them. Whether making a quilt or sprinkling them on window curtains or table cloths, we feel you will love each of them as we do.

New Things Coming

Hi all,

Just to keep you looking forward for what is coming, I wanted to tell
you a little about these next designs.

As most of you know by now Nita (my sister) is hand drawing some of
the artwork for my designs. Her site is called "Nita Lou's Follies". http://www.nitalousfollies.com
On that site you can see her hand made German dolls that she does. You
can get the dolls from her, just send her an email with any questions you might have. Her site is
under construction, more is coming, she will have her Oil Painting on there also. A child's storybook is in
the works, in which when ready, there will also be embroidery designs to go along with the story. You have just got to get this book when ready, it is just wonderful.

Well to go along with all the new, she has also got her German Dolls
now hand drawn out for me to digitize.
Along with that are now a new line of "Blue Bell Girls". She has been working on. They are so cute.
Then there are the newest Rambling Rosy designs, as you might remember, they are the angels coming out of the center of roses. Well, now I have a few more new ones to get started on. You will love them.
Then there are some NEW Hat Girls coming. Just though I had them all
done and ready to be released, ha.
Now there are 5 new ones to add to the mix of what was there.

Next question! Where does Nita keep coming up with all of these new designs?? She is an artist and all I know is that her mind "never" stops, even when we talk for hours on the phone, she is drawing at the same
time, coming up with all kinds of ideas. Then there is her husband, always in the background giving her more
ideas. lol

Just had to get me a new pond today, my old one got a hole in it. So now I can hear some nice water falls outside my sewing room window. It is so relaxing. Now tomorrow I can plant some more flowers around the pond and in my containers. Make a nice spot to relax and get away from it all and just enjoy.
